WORKING GIRL'S STORY

Having worked in recruitment for over 9 years, I am hugely passionate about all things career, job searching and self-development focused. I have worked with people at all stages of their career, mentoring and coaching school leavers, recent graduates and experienced individuals and love working with people to fully understand how they can approach a job search, develop their career and be the best version of themselves, whatever stage they are at.

I launched Working Girl during the covid pandemic with the sole purpose of providing information and advice to support grads and early job seekers on how to approach a new job search and how to stand-out in such a competitive market. I found there was a real lack of engaging content and that graduates were more-or-less left to themselves to navigate their job search through trial and error and filtering through generic online resources.

I realised there was a real need for some fresh, forward-thinking supportive advice and guidance to help 20-somethings navigate through their own individual job search journeys and understand what they can do to differentiate themselves throughout the process.

Working Girl is here to shake things up! I want to open up conversations and showcase thoughts, advice and insight on what it takes to differentiate yourself in all aspects of job searching, how to begin with networking and engaging with the right people, start shining and give you the confidence and ability to showcase the best version of you, at all stages of your job-search, to help you land a job you love!
